Limited Edition Blend
The taste of sun-dried raisins, rum and floral chamomile.
1. Chauffez de l’eau à 97 °C.
2. Mettez le thé dans une tasse et versez l'eau sur les feuilles.
3. Laissez infuser pendant 3 à 5 minutes.
4. Savourez !
Pour les thés glacés en feuilles, utiliser 2 c. à café par verre de 23 cl.
I first discovered this tea, as well as Tea Forte in general, this past December (2016) upon receiving a gift of the Warming Joy assortment box. Rum Raisin Biscotti seemed a very improbable flavor for tea, though as ice cream it sounded delicious. However, I instantly liked it and wanted more. There were only two infusers of the flavor in the gift box, and I knew it was a seasonal tea, so I was very pleased to find it on the Tea Forte site in a canister. I have happily added it to my Tea Forte rotation.
It would be perfect to add some actual alcohol to this tea. I am sadly nursing and can't afford to. It would be perfect for sauces or for teetotalers that might want something that has the taste of rum but is merely tea. I didn't even realize there were blackberry leaves in there.
