    For hot matcha, blend one Single Steeps Matcha into 3.5 ounces of near-boiling water. Whisk thoroughly until rich and foamy. For best results, use a traditional bamboo whisk or frother.

    For a matcha latté, blend one Single Steeps Matcha into 3.5 ounces of warm milk. Thoroughly mix with frother until tea becomes rich and foamy.

    For iced matcha, blend one Single Steeps Matcha into 3.5 ounces of cool water. Mix thoroughly and add ice. For best results, use a traditional bamboo whisk or frother.

      Wonderful Chai Aroma

      The first thing you notice about this matcha flavor is the wonderful aroma - a great way to start the day! For matcha lovers, this is a great choice and so full of the chai flavoring. If you're new to matcha and the strong green tea taste, this might be a good option as the chai dominates. I've tried this with water and with coconut milk - both are good in their own way. It would be about personal preference as the milk tamps down the overall taste. The only drawback I found was that sugar is already added. I prefer teas without sugar and controlling the sweetness on my own. If you're shopping for holiday gifts, be sure to note the size of the canister. Matcha is a fantastic tea option but pricey and the canister may not be the size you would expect. Enjoy!

      great matcha, needs more chai spices

      I enjoy the matcha flavor and quality product that blends well. My suggestion is to make it a stronger chai flavor. I had to add cinnamon and some honey and milk to give it more of a chai flavor.

      If you like spices such as cinnamon and ginger found in chai, you'll enjoy Chai Matcha. I mixed 5 oz of hot almond milk with a level teaspoon of the Chai Matcha powder and it made a tasty Chai Matcha Latte. My daughter put a little honey in hers for added sweetness.

      First taste of Matcha, enjoyed

      Matcha was something new to me so the five flavor Single Steeps Matcha assortment was a good place to start. I chose Chai first because it's one of my favorite flavors in the non Matcha offerings. I don't have a frother or a whisk but did my best with what I had, and was very pleased. The tea seems slightly thicker yet the Chai flavor is slightly more subtle, compared to more traditional teas. I enjoyed this combination and look forward to trying it with proper frothage; it can only get better.

      Chai heaven!

      Do you wish you could make a fantastic, tea house-quality matcha chai latte at home? I did, and now I can! I just love this blend, simply with hot water or with steamed milk (delicious with any type!) It blends smoothly, with a full-bodied, fresh taste that has no comparison anywhere else.
